Phoenix Art Show

Thank you to all of the artists who showed this year.

The checks will be sent out by the end of this week. Everyone should receive them between July 5th and July 10th. If you haven’t received yours by then, please use the contact form on the site to let me know!

If you’ve sent in payment, or you registered as a mail-in artist, you should now have an artist number when you look up your registration.

There were a few of you I emailed when I went through to assign artist numbers who sent in payment, but had not actually registered as an artist. I cannot accept your payment or reserve your space until you register. So please do so ASAP!

I’ll be leaving registration open until May 31st. The latest we’ll accept mail-in art will be June 3rd.

Artist Numbers will be assigned by the end of May still giving you enough time for you to be able to fill out your paperwork before attending the show.

For mail-in artists, please contact me before you mail in your artwork if I have not assigned your numbers yet.

For those attending, as far as paperwork to be sent in prior to the show is concerned, we only require the rules to be signed and submitted. You do not need your artist number for the rules, we will fill that in at the show.

I apologize for the delay this year, I am finishing up my first PhD spring semester at the moment and am spending the rest of the month in Korea! Don’t worry, there is someone there to pick up all mail and artwork should it be sent in while I am away.

Phoenix Art Show registration will begin as always on the first Monday in April. This year that is April 4th, 2011.

Until then, feel free to download the forms, read the rules, check out our information page, or contact us if you have questions.

The forums are down at the moment, but should be back soon. Until then, we’ll try to keep up with the forms on the A-kon site.

As of today, all checks that have been received have been updated in the system and those artists have been assigned artist numbers. You can now use your artist numbers on the forms that must be filled out prior to the show. If you have questions on filling out your forms, you can find instructions here.

If you have sent in your check, but you are NOT marked as paid when you search registration, please use the contact form to contact us.

Checks are held until the last week of May as we deposit all of them at once, so do not fret if the funds have not cleared your account yet.

If you have not sent in your check yet, please do so! Your reservation is NOT confirmed until your check is received. All checks & mail-in art must be received by May 29th in order to guarantee your space.

If you have not yet registered and are looking to secure space for the show, artist registration will be open until May 22nd or until we fill up. We are filling up fast so get your space reservations in today!

It’s that time of year again! And, because we are feeling generous after getting everything back up and running we are opening Artist Registration one week early!

If you want to register for 4 or more panels, you must contact us first.

Please be sure you read over the rules prior to registering for the show. You will need to provide a signed copy of the rules with your registration fee in order for us to show your work. Once we receive these, you will be issued an artist number that you can look up via the search registration tool and then use on the forms that must be filled out prior to show.

Please save your registration confirmation page! That page contains the mail-to address and your total.

Other than the site, our biggest change this year is moving the Live Auction from 9pm to 6pm Saturday night. You can see the show writeup that will be in the program book by visiting the information page.

Welcome to the new Phoenix Art Show site.

The old site had been running since 2004 with minimal changes, so  I decided to upgrade! Not to mention it had become a spammer haven due to its use of old technology/programming. This means that everyone will need to re-register once I get the forums back up, which should happen just prior to registration opening April 5th.
